The founding of Humble Hearts Caregivers was born out of a deeply personal journey. When my husband was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 cancer that had already metastasized, our world was turned upside down. This devastating diagnosis became the catalyst for embracing a holistic approach to his care, one rooted in faith, determination, and love. It was through this experience that the inspiration to launch Humble Hearts Caregivers was born.
Despite my 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, nothing could have prepared me for the emotional toll of navigating my husband’s treatment. I had spent decades compassionately caring for others, but this time, the battle hit home. The odds were overwhelming, and yet, our perseverance and unwavering faith guided us through the darkest days.
Partnering holistic care with traditional treatments, we focused not just on fighting the disease but on healing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Nutrition, emotional and mental wellness, spiritual support, and a nurturing environment all played vital roles in his care. Our collaborative approach, supported and admired by his physicians and specialists, yielded incredible results.
Two years into treatment, he made a full recovery and has been cancer-free for six years.
That journey solidified my belief in the power of personalized, holistic care. It reaffirmed my passion and purpose in healthcare: to serve others with excellence, compassion, and integrity.
With over 25 years of industry experience, I have had the privilege of being entrusted with high-profile clients and recognized for my dedication and professionalism. These opportunities have helped establish a strong and growing reputation for quality, trust, and reliability.
At Humble Hearts Caregivers, our mission is simple yet powerful: to treat every individual as if they were our own family. Whether providing direct care, mentoring our team, or supporting families through difficult transitions, I remain driven by compassion and a commitment to excellence. We prioritize the well-being of not only our clients but also our caregivers, because great care starts with a strong, supported team.
Our goal is to bridge the gap in healthcare by offering high-quality, holistic, and personalized support, because everyone deserves to be cared for with dignity, respect, and heart.
Motivated by a deep-seated desire to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, Brittany transitioned into healthcare administration, focusing specifically on the home health sector. Growing up, she was inspired by her mother, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), which instilled in her a profound sense of care and compassion for the elderly. This inspiration was further reinforced through her extensive volunteering experiences at assisted living facilities and retirement homes, where she actively engaged with residents by serving as a stand-in activity director, playing the piano, and organizing entertainment events. Brittany has always found immense joy in supporting and uplifting the elder members of her community.
